GTA 6: The Album Brings 34 Original Tracks on November 19

Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original tracks released on November 19, 2026 — the same day as the game. Six singles are streaming now, and the record is on pre-order on vinyl and CD.
The announcement was made on September 17, 2026. This report is backfill: it should have been on the site two weeks ago and was missed, so treat the date above as when we covered it, not when it happened. Nothing in the announcement has changed since.
The six singles
Every outlet that covered the announcement lists the same six tracks, all available now:
| Artist | Track |
|---|---|
| Yung Lean feat. Future & Metro Boomin | That’s It |
| Travis Scott | RHYNO |
| CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy | Sexy Magic |
| Morgan Wallen | Last Thing You Need |
| Rauw Alejandro | Macacoa 2000 |
| Keith Richards | Bright Lights, Big City |
“RHYNO” is credited as produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, formerly of Daft Punk. The other 28 tracks and their artists have not been named.
The spread is the point. Swedish cloud rap, Atlanta trap, Argentine and Puerto Rican pop, Nashville country, UK dance and a Rolling Stone is roughly what a modern Florida radio dial sounds like, and it is the first official indication of the musical range Rockstar is aiming for in Leonida.
Formats and prices
Three physical editions are on pre-order, with further retailer-exclusive pressings reported by Digital Music News.
| Edition | US price | UK price |
|---|---|---|
| CD (jewel case) | $19.98 | £10.99 |
| Splatter vinyl | $49.98 | £44.99 |
| Limited liquid-filled vinyl | $124.98 | £108.99 |
US prices are as reported by NBC; UK prices are from Music Ally, which also noted the limited vinyl’s pre-order allocation had already sold out there. None of the three is a version of the game, and none includes one — the game’s own line-up is unchanged and is laid out in the editions guide.
Why original music is a break with the series
Grand Theft Auto built its reputation on licensing. Vice City’s soundtrack was a curated 1980s jukebox, San Andreas did the same for the early 1990s, and GTA 5 followed with hundreds of existing songs across its stations. Original material has appeared before — GTA 5 had a commissioned score and a handful of exclusive tracks — but a 34-track album of new songs from headline artists, on a major label, sold as its own release on launch day, is a different scale of project. Music Ally called it an unexpected move for a franchise that has tended to license existing tracks rather than commission new ones.
It is also a second product. An album with its own pre-order, its own retail variants and its own chart eligibility extends the launch beyond the game, in the same way the DualSense controllers did for hardware. Take-Two’s chief executive said in August that the Netflix reveal was only one of the hors d’oeuvres in the marketing plan; this is plainly another.
What it does not confirm
This is where care is needed, because the announcement is easy to over-read.
- It is not the radio station list. Rockstar has said details of the game’s music — including its score and in-game radio — will come at a later date. No station names, hosts or genres have been published.
- It does not say where the 34 tracks play. Reports describe the album as accompanying the game’s radio, score and other music, and Music Ally says it would expect the songs to feature on in-game stations. That is an expectation, not a statement from Rockstar.
- It is not the licensed soundtrack. The songs heard in the trailers and the Extended Look are existing recordings and are separate from this album.
Update, October 8, 2026: Rockstar has since named six radio stations, their hosts and on-demand podcasts (full report). The first point above described the position when the album was announced. The second still stands: Rockstar has not said whether album tracks play on those stations. Our radio and soundtrack page is now rated confirmed for the six stations named.
Update, October 18, 2026: The third point no longer holds for every trailer. The Launch Trailer released on October 15 is set to “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, a new song that appears on this album. Rockstar also named Justice as composers of the game’s original score.
What to watch for
The album’s remaining track list is the obvious next beat, and a station reveal would normally follow or accompany it. Musicians appearing on the album also raised the question of whether any of them appear in the game itself. A credit on a record does not answer that, but Rockstar’s October 8 radio reveal did for one of them: Morgan Wallen voices a host on Back Country Radio. The celebrity cameos page tracks the rest.
The running list of what Rockstar has stated is in everything confirmed so far.
This page will be updated when Rockstar names the remaining tracks.
