On October 8, 2026, Rockstar named six radio stations and credited the real people who voice their hosts. That settles the broad question. It does not mean any of them appears as a character you meet in the world, and Rockstar has not announced one who does.

What is not confirmed
- An on-screen cameo. Every credit above is a radio voice. No celebrity has been announced as a character model, a mission-giver or a fictionalized version of themselves in the story.
- Podcast hosts. Rockstar confirmed on-demand podcasts but named nobody behind them.
- Anyone not on Rockstar’s list. Names attached to GTA 6 through voice comparisons, social-media follows or studio visits remain speculation.
What we already knew
Rockstar has introduced the central pair, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, along with Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, Brian Heder, and Cal Hampton. The existence of music-industry characters such as Dre’Quan Priest and Real Dimez still does not confirm that real performers play them. Series precedent
Rockstar has a long history of working with recognizable performers and public figures. GTA: San Andreas featured a prominent voice cast. GTA IV and GTA V used celebrity guests and personalities within their radio and media worlds, while GTA V also included appearances built around fictionalized versions of public figures. That history makes future guest participation plausible.

One distinction matters here. In September 2026, actor Stephen Root told the Associated Press he is in GTA 6, reportedly voicing the fictional character Brian Heder (details). That is casting in a character role, self-reported by the actor, and separate from the radio credits above.
Precedent cannot identify a person. A musician appearing on a soundtrack would also not necessarily mean that person has an in-world cameo.
Why casting rumors are weak evidence
Voice identification from short dialogue is uncertain, especially when performers can share accents, cadence, or recording styles. Follows, photographs, studio visits, and vague social posts can have explanations unrelated to GTA 6. Unless Rockstar, the performer, or an official credit confirms involvement, attaching a name risks misidentifying the actor and misleading readers.

Reliable confirmation could come through Rockstar’s site or Newswire, an authorized announcement from a performer, a clearly credited official trailer, or the finished game’s credits. The type of involvement should also be stated accurately: licensed music, radio hosting, voice acting, and an on-screen cameo are different contributions.
Our read is that the radio credits are settled and anything beyond them is not. Guest appearances outside the radio remain plausible because media is central to GTA’s identity, but naming anyone Rockstar has not credited would be speculation.
