What radio stations and music will GTA 6 have?
Rockstar has named six stations: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics, plus on-demand podcasts. More stations exist; the full list and soundtrack are unannounced.
Verdict: Confirmed — for six stations, their hosts and in-game podcasts. On October 8, 2026, Rockstar named six GTA 6 radio stations, said who hosts and voices each, and listed three sample songs apiece. It also confirmed on-demand podcasts and in-world headphones. On October 15 it named French duo Justice as composers of the original score. The complete station list and the full licensed soundtrack are still unannounced.

Rockstar’s sample songs include Bad Bunny’s “EoO”, Loretta Lynn’s “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind)”, Asake’s “Joha”, Slayer’s “Raining Blood”, MGMT’s “Electric Feel” and David Banner’s “Like A Pimp”. Eighteen songs were named in total, three per station. That is a preview, not a tracklist.
Podcasts and listening on foot
Rockstar says GTA 6 introduces “a series of on-demand podcasts” for Jason and Lucia, a first for the series, and that both radio and podcasts can be heard “in vehicles and on-foot through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones”. In earlier mainline games the radio stopped when you left the car.
No podcast has been named. Rockstar has not said how headphones are obtained or whether they change what the player hears of the world around them.
The album
Separately, Rockstar and Atlantic Records announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17, 2026: 34 original tracks out on November 19, with six singles already streaming. Details are in our report on the album. Rockstar has not said whether album tracks play on the in-game stations, and promises more singles before launch.
The score: Justice
On October 15, 2026, Rockstar released the GTA 6 Launch Trailer and credited the French electronic duo Justice as “original score composers”. The trailer debuted their song “Flower in a Hurricane”, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which also appears on The Album. Rockstar says more on the music is coming, “including the official score album”, without a date. Our launch trailer report has the detail.
What is still unannounced
Rockstar describes the dial as “the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet”, covering “Classic Rock, Modern Hip-Hop, Pop, Metal, Dance, Latin, 80’s, Electronic, Blues, Ballads, Talk Radio, and more”. Several of those formats have no named station yet, so more are coming. Rockstar has not given a total.

- The “dynamic score” itself, beyond who wrote it: Rockstar names Justice as composers (see above) but has not described how the score works in play

Station names that circulate from unofficial sources are not listed here. Only the six stations above have been named by Rockstar, and music rights can change late in development.

Radio is one of GTA’s defining world-building tools, and the reveal follows the pattern.

The question this page tracks has moved from “nothing announced” to “partly announced”. The stations, hosts and features above are official. Everything beyond them is not, and a list that claims to be the complete GTA 6 soundtrack today is mixing Rockstar’s eighteen songs with guesswork.
