Will there be a GTA 6 collector's edition?
Yes, as a box of collectibles with no game inside. Rockstar's $399.99 Goodtime State – Vice City Collection ships November 19 and GTA 6 is sold separately. The game itself still comes only as Standard and Ultimate.
Verdict: Confirmed — with a large qualifier. Rockstar now sells an official premium physical package for GTA 6: the $399.99 Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, on pre-order since September 24, 2026 and shipping from November 19. It contains 11 collectibles and no copy of the game. There is still no collector’s edition of GTA 6 itself — the game comes only as Standard and Ultimate.
What Rockstar is selling
The collection is listed on the Rockstar Store as merchandise, not as a game edition. Its theme is Macca the Gator, a fictional TV show from Leonida, and the Leonida Keys. The full contents and the small print are in our report on the collection.
| Product | US price | Includes GTA 6? | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $79.99 | Yes | Base game |
| Ultimate Edition | $99.99 | Yes | Base game plus in-game vehicles, apparel, weapons and shops |
| Goodtime State – Vice City Collection | $399.99 | No | 11 physical collectibles |

The box holds a Macca the Gator figure with a storage base, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a crossbody bag, a New Era snapback, a magnetic mirror, a shot glass, a swizzle spoon, a razor blade keychain, an enamel pin set, a sticker pack and a double-sided poster with a map of Leonida on one side.
Why this counts as confirmed
This page has asked since June whether Rockstar would release a premium physical package for GTA 6, and it set out what confirmation would require: a Rockstar product announcement with a name, contents, a price and purchasing information. All four now exist on Rockstar’s own store.
The thing people pictured, though, was a box with the game in it. That has not happened. Anyone buying the collection still has to buy GTA 6 separately, and the collection adds nothing in-game. If your question is “can I buy one package that has the game and a statue”, the answer today is no.
Why there is no game in the box
Rockstar has confirmed there is no disc at launch — the boxed retail copy holds a download code. A traditional collector’s edition would therefore have been physical objects around a code. Selling the objects on their own avoids tying a limited-run item to a platform, and lets a buyer pair it with either edition on either console.
Ultimate is still not a collector’s edition
The $99.99 Ultimate Edition remains the top tier of the game. Its extras are all in-game: premium vehicles, apparel, personalized weapons and exclusive shops. It includes no physical items, and the new collection does not change its contents. The editions and preorder guide has the full comparison.
What to be careful about
- Retailer listings for a “Collector’s Edition” with a game inside are not validated by this. Rockstar has announced no such product.
- Availability is limited and regional. The collection is described as sold while supplies last, and the store restricts it by region. Rockstar has published no production figure.
- Shipping is extra. Reports note it is not eligible for free shipping.
- A bundle could still follow, but nothing has been said, and it should not be assumed.
The confirmed information roundup tracks any change to the line-up.
This page will be updated if Rockstar announces a collector’s package that includes the game.
